Class Description: Students will learn to connect creativity with spiritual inspiration through the process of altered books and journaling.  This is a process that is simple and accessible to all.  No experience in art/drawing/painting is needed.

The Process:  Altered books is something Trish began as a way to strengthen her prayer life as well as her spiritual relationship and to go into the studio to create every day.  Her altered book became a prayer/art journal where there are no boundaries or judgment.  As a result, a purity of intent emerged and a deeper connection to The Spirit Of God.  Students will use texture, collage, and paint to create a personal work of art and find their own connection to The Spirit.
