Do Trees Nap? is the story of Talitha Koum, a willful little girl
who refuses to take a nap. One day, in a seemingly perfect plan,
she tries to trick her mother into skipping nap time by asking
the unexpected question, "Do trees nap?" Her mother sends
Talitha on a journey to meet Wise Tree and receives an answer
that gives much deeper meaning for her life.

walk written and illustrated by award-winning watercolor and
mixed-media artist Trish McKinney. With illustrations inspired by a
conversation with the artist's daughter and time spent living in the
